When do you ship?
WE currently ship on a daily basis, this works because we have not had a snow storm, an ice storm, a flood or any other natural clamity in a few weeks. This will continue unless one of the above happens, in that case we ask you to be patient! WE will resume shipping ASAP!!
What do I do if my carrier has a flaw?
WE carefully check each carrier before we list it, but if you find something we didn't you can send it back to us ( at our cost) and we will repair or replace your carrier.
Flaws must be something we missed not an accident with your two years olds Sharpie or scizzors. Please understand that we will ask for pictures.
Who makes your Mei Tai?
We do, we are NOT professionals, so there may be slight differences in each of our Mei Tai. But they are all sewn with quality fabrics and all seams are reinforced three times. Our straps are sewn internally to the body of our carrier ,we use reinforced boxed X's on the the straps and then top stitch them twice. The body of the carrier is placed inside the waist band about two inches and is also reinforced three times.
Why are your Mei Tai less expensive than most?
We sew as a hobby, not as a business. So therefore we are not trying to support our families with our sewing. This allows us to make carriers at our own pace and then list any that we don't give as gifts or to the community. They are not less expensive because we use "cheap" fabrics or because they are of poor quality, quite the opposite, our fabrics are purchased at retail stores and through a buyer in NY, so they are top quality and very durable.
What is your return policy ?
We want you to love your carrier, so we will hold your funds in PP up to 7 days AFTER you receive your carrier, if for some reason during that time you decide you are unhappy with it you can ship it back to us( you pay for the return shipping) when we receive your carrier then we will refund your paypal. AFter 7 days we will not refund your money but if you find yoru unhappy with your purchase you are welcome to send it back and receive store credit.
Do you take custom orders?
Yes we do, BUT with a catch, you send us your fabric, we make your carrier , and when it is finished THEN you pay us for it. We cannot guarantee turn around time, but try to keep it within two weeks of receiveing your fabric.WE have 12children between us and we homeschool all of them so there are times when things get crazy around here!
